Cycling is much more than just pedaling.

It is passion, effort, dedication and, above all, legacy. And today we want to talk about a legacy that resonates in every corner of Spain, about that legacy that Guillermo Timoner left us.

A Mallorcan who not only pedaled along paths and tracks but also through the hearts of all of us. At 97 years old, we have said goodbye to a true legend of Spanish cycling, a pioneer, a benchmark: Guillermo Timoner. His departure leaves us with an immense void, but also the satisfaction of having been contemporaries of his greatness.

🌟 If we talk about achievements, wow he had them! 🏆

Six world titles on track (middle distance) between 1955 and 1965 . But beyond the trophies and medals, Timoner became the symbol of perseverance and love for this sport. And, of course, he always wore the emblematic rainbow jersey with great pride, being the first from our country to do so. He began his love affair with cycling in 1945, winning his first national championship. From that moment on, his rise was meteoric, leaving an indelible mark on the national sport.
